Location: Marlborough Street Estate, Central Leeds Residents of the Marlborough Street estate can now relax as well as get involved in food growing and gardening activities on their doorstep thanks to the development of two brand new garden areas on land once dominated by concrete paving slabs.

Location: Selby Gardening Service providing training and supported work experience for adults with physical, mental health and learning needs
Location: Kettlethorpe The project has seen the creation of a new network of footpaths throughout the woodland which will in turn increase the usage of the area throughout the seasons. Selective tree clearance has resulted in a brighter, more open and inviting space and the planting of over 150 new trees has helped to fill voids in the woodland where a new lease of life was required.
Location: Wakefield In 2010 Groundwork successfully secured £26,500 from the Marks & Spencer Greener Living Spaces fund to develop a project in the green space to the front of the City Centre flats and apartments on the corner of George Street and Rodneys Yard in Wakefield City Centre. This funding is from the 5p charged for carrier bags in most M&S food stores. WDH matched the M&S funding with a further £25,000 from their capital budget bringing the project total to £51,500.
