Job Club
JOB CLUB SERVICE
- Aligned to the government's 'Get Britain Working' initiative
and continuing the work Groundwork already undertake regenerating
communities, a number of local job clubs have been established.
These jobs have been set up to support local people to access
training and employment opportunities. The services offered at
these Job Clubs include:
- Provide customers with job search techniques and interview
skills
- Provide customers with an email account whilst developing IT
skills
- Develop a CV for each customer
- Make available a range of weekly publications advertising
employment opportunities
- Refer customers for appropriate training and local work
experience opportunities
- Refer customers to appropriate support services
- Offer information on volunteering opportunities
- Refer job ready customers to Jobmatch UK for employment
opportunities
- Customers will also have 24 hour access to our website to
submit email requests and be provided with direct email
addresses
- 24 hour access to our answer-phone service to leave a message
or request
