How to get in touch with our team
Without people in meaningful work, communities cannot function. We help people to retrain, gain confidence and gain valuable work experience. From structured volunteering to formal placements with employers, we help people move on a journey towards employment.
Our specially trained staff can provide the following:
Through a step by step guidance process, the Skills and Training Team engage with people and their needs to help address barriers to employment e.g. CV writing, Letter Writing, Job Search etc
People are not always sure of the right job to pursue, here at Groundwork Wakefield we have a dedicated team to match peoples skills and experience through our job brokerage service, pointing individuals in the right direction.
The teams extensive knowledge of contacts and what opportunities are available within the area ensures that they are ahead in gaining the right pathway for the individual.
A sensitive and beneficial support process is given to all participants throughout their employment and/or training making sure the individual is achieving and acquiring the confidence to complete the course.
With the support of the Skills and Training Team participants can get the chance to be provided with excellent training opportunities and the chance to gain nationally recognised qualifications and progress into further training and employment.
