    Countryside Parks Ranger Wakefield Permanent, Full Time (£18,000 to £20,000) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Countryside Parks Ranger:  To assist in the management and delivery of a range of activities that meet the maintenance requirements for both sites (access, amenity, biodiversity)  To encourage, through effective community engagement, the safe public use of the Frickley Country Park and Fryston Countryside Trails  To organise events on and around the sites to publicise and encourage greater public participation of the site facilities  To provide information, interpretation and educational activity to promote the wildlife, vegetation and biodiversity of the sites  To work in partnership with all local organisations who have an interest in the sites  To liaise with the appropriate enforcement agencies in respect of any issues of mis-use of the sites  To deputise for the Senior Ranger as necessary  To monitor and maintain all health and safety requirements for the sites.
