Countryside Parks Ranger

Permanent, Full Time (£18,000 to £20,000)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Countryside Parks Ranger:
To assist in the management and delivery of a range of activities that meet the maintenance requirements for both sites (access, amenity, biodiversity)
To encourage, through effective community engagement, the safe public use of the Frickley Country Park and Fryston Countryside Trails
To organise events on and around the sites to publicise and encourage greater public participation of the site facilities
To provide information, interpretation and educational activity to promote the wildlife, vegetation and biodiversity of the sites
To work in partnership with all local organisations who have an interest in the sites
To liaise with the appropriate enforcement agencies in respect of any issues of mis-use of the sites
To deputise for the Senior Ranger as necessary
To monitor and maintain all health and safety requirements for the sites.
The post will require an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check.
