Cadbury staff create their mosaic masterpiece.
Cadbury staff from Sheffield were joined by colleagues from Ireland for a day of volunteering at the newly improved community space in Longley.
Renovations to the site in Longley were made possible thanks to funding from Cadbury. Outdoor gym equipment, an informal stage / seating area, stepping stones and a low level maze have all been installed on site through the project.
Cadbury colleagues have played a huge part in transforming the site, having dug out the maze foundations and planted fruit trees and crocus bulbs during a previous volunteering session. At their latest volunteer day, staff designed and created a wavy purple mosaic along the new stage’s seats, painted equipment, and planted a range of shrubs and flowers.
Once the hard work was completed, colleagues enjoyed taking part in a variety of Spots v Stripes games – from bean bag racing to skittles, finishing up with a tug-of-war.
