Groundwork Sheffield was established in 2004 to support partnerships and increase resources for the city’s diverse environmental sector.
Our original focus areas included the development of the waterways, management of open space and support for community and neighbourhood development.
We retain a commitment to all of these areas of work, and have established projects and programmes that seek long term change in business practice and sustainability, better stewardship of rivers and waterways, and neighbourhood programmes that link schools and neighbourhoods more effectively.
