Regional Agencies

Groundwork is structured on a regional basis and we’re passionate about helping to create successful and distinctive regions.

We aim to align what we do with the regional strategy and work closely with many regional development agencies, regional Government Offices and the Mayor of London. Some examples of our most successful regional work includes:

In the Northwest, developing and managing the ENWORKS business support service which has cut carbon and helped the NWDA make a major impact in tackling climate change.
In the Southeast, working with SEEDA to make transport hubs more sustainable and as part of the Reaching for Gold initiative to encourage innovation from young people.
In London, managing the Mayor’s Street Trees Programme on behalf of the Mayor of London.
In Yorkshire & Humber, developing an EMS project to SME’s in the region, helping businesses to cut carbon, save money and secure new contracts
