How to get in touch with our team
Board Directors play a vital role in the organisation and are responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction and governance of Groundwork North Yorkshire, ensuring that it operates in a manner which enables it to fulfil the objectives set out in the Memorandum and Articles of Association. As the company is also a registered Charity, Directors are charitable trustees and must therefore ensure that due attention is paid to both charitable and company law.
Our Board is Chaired by Ewan Christian
Ewan’s career has spanned a wide variety of businesses: very often household names, and ranging in size from multinationals through smaller, family-owned businesses to businesses that he has started and run himself. Circumstances have ranged from hugely profitable to rapid turnarounds.
Originally a mechanical engineer, designing parts for motor cars, Ewan moved to Finance Director roles and then into consultancy
