Each year we make an incredible impact on the ground.
In 2010/11 we delivered 398 community and environmental projects. These involved nearly 10,000 people and 115 schools, helping them to get involved and make their communities cleaner and greener.
We also planted 4000 trees, which will help ensure a greener future for urban areas, and helped improve or maintain over 1822,000m2 of land through tasks like grass cutting, chopping back overgrown shrubs, planting and food growing – that’s the equivalent of around 182 football pitches!
