Groundwork worked closely with Cranmer Bank Tenants and Residents Association and East North East Homes Leeds (ENEHL) to re-imagine Tynwald Woods within the Cranmer Bank Estate in North East Leeds.

This valuable woodland had fallen into decline with overgrown footpaths and extensive fly tipping problems, which has led to further problems in terms of anti-social behaviour. Local residents were keen to see the area improved and were consulted throughout the development.

The area has been transformed into a space which can be enjoyed by all members of the community, and is now used on a daily basis by pedestrians, cycles and those seeking a space to relax.
