A programme of activities is being run to enable residents of John O' Gaunts to get involved in their community, while helping with some much needed improvements in the area.
All participants will have the opportunity to earn points as they take part in different events which will count towards a FREE trip at the end of the programme.
Thursday 26th July, 1:00pm - 3:30pmActivities include: Mini olympics, relay races, football and a mini marathon around Rothwell Park. A great chance to burn some energy!
Location: The football field next to the Rose Lund Community Centre.
Thursday 2nd August, 1:00pm - 4:00pm'Grow me, eat me' planting session, complete with food at the end.
Location: John O' Gaunts allotments (follow the path with the red railings on Temple Avenue).
Saturday 11th August, 11:00am - 3:30pmJohn O' Gaunts community planting day: Come and revamp the planters, and get free plants to take home! Refreshments are provided.
Meet at Temple Lawn Community Centre.
Friday 17th August, 10:00am - 3:00pmJohn O' Gaunts Summit: a chance for residents and agencies to showcase anything relevant to John O' Gaunts.
Based in and around Rose Lund Community Centre.
Friday 24th August, 10:00am - 3:00pmCommunity clean up and BBQ: come along and help make your community a more attractive place to live. Reward your efforts with the BBQ to follow!

Sunday 2nd September, 8:30amA community trip, FREE to families taking part in the Summer of Activity. Location to be agreen by participants.
